Beautiful ponds, sculpted waterfalls and water gardens, thoughtfully built around you and your garden.
I personally build wildlife ponds, ecosystem ponds, streams and waterfalls across Wells and Somerset.
My approach brings together careful construction, a love of wildlife and an artistic eye for shape, stone and movement. The aim is simple: to create something quietly striking, full of life and made to last.
I believe beautiful gardens should be cared for, not simply filled with expensive things. I give honest advice, use good materials and work carefully to create the best pond I can within a sensible budget.

Built by me
When you ask me to build a pond, I am the person you meet, the person thinking through the design and, most importantly, the person actually creating it.
I occasionally have help with heavier stages of a project, but I personally oversee and work on every pond I build.
That matters to me. It means I can take the time to understand the garden, make decisions as the pond takes shape and pay attention to the small details that can turn a water feature into something really special.
Wildlife Ponds
A pond is one of my favourite ways to bring life into a garden.
I build wildlife ponds with shape, depth, planting and the wider garden carefully considered. My aim is to create something that feels as though it belongs in the space — beautiful for you to enjoy and welcoming to the wildlife that discovers it.
Wildlife is important to the way I work, but so are people. I want to create ponds that are full of life while still looking beautiful, intentional and quietly striking.
Ecosystem Ponds & Waterfalls
This is where my love of ponds and sculpture really comes together.
I build ecosystem ponds with hidden filtration, carefully placed stone and flowing waterfalls designed to bring movement, sound and life into the garden.
I spend a lot of time looking at how the water moves, where a stone sits and how the pond feels from different parts of the garden. Small changes can completely alter a waterfall.
The filtration may be hidden, but the construction behind the pond matters enormously. I use quality pond systems and careful building methods to create water gardens designed for long-term enjoyment.
The finished pond should feel exciting when you first see it, peaceful when you sit beside it and increasingly at home as the garden grows around it.
Pondless Waterfalls & Streams
Water has an extraordinary ability to change the feeling of a garden.
I build flowing streams and pondless waterfalls, from gentle trickles to more dramatic cascades.
My sculpture background has a big influence on this work. I think carefully about form, levels, stone placement and the journey the water takes through the garden.
The aim isn’t to copy nature perfectly. It is to learn from it and create something beautiful, believable and made specifically for your space.
Calm in some places. Dramatic in others. Always full of movement and life.
Fountains & Small Water Features
You don’t need a huge garden or budget to enjoy moving water.
I also install smaller fountains and water features, bringing sound, movement and character to courtyards, patios and smaller gardens.
These can be a lovely option where a pond isn’t practical, and I can help choose something that suits the garden rather than simply dropping a feature into the nearest empty corner.
Simple, well placed and surprisingly transformative.
Planting & Mulching Around Your Pond
A pond rarely looks its best in isolation.
Where appropriate, I can also help with planting, gravel, edging and the surrounding garden so the finished pond feels connected to the space around it.
I particularly enjoy using planting and natural materials to soften the edges of a new pond and create a garden that becomes richer and more established with time.
The pond may be the heart of the project, but the details around it help the whole garden come alive.
Beautiful doesn’t have to mean unaffordable
I care deeply about quality, but the most expensive option is frequently not the best one.
I’ll talk honestly about your budget and help you decide where it’s worth spending money and where a simpler solution will work beautifully.
My aim is to build something I’m proud of and you will always feel was worth paying for.
